
This course “Addiction” contains eight sessions one and half hours each. This course helps learners to understand addiction and how to support people on their recovery journey. It explains addiction as a health condition and focuses on compassionate, non-judgmental care.
Participants will learn how addiction affects the body, mind, and family, and how caregivers can provide emotional support, encourage treatment, and recognize warning signs of relapse or crisis. The course also highlights the importance of communication, safety, and caregiver self-care.

This Caregivers Training Course is designed to equip caregivers with non-medical background with the essential knowledge and practical skills to provide safe, compassionate, and effective care for patients across different age groups and health conditions.
By the end of the course, caregivers will be better prepared to deliver holistic, patient-centered care that promotes safety, comfort, and quality of life in home and community settings.
